Hi! I’m Sherri Paulson.
I have lived and served in Ghana, West Africa since 2005 with SIM. Daily I am humbled that God uses me in his purpose and plans. I am a farm girl, born and raised in Goodrich, Wisconsin. Out of His love for me, God has called me to Himself and to show others His goodness in Ghana. I try. I work alongside an amazing, international team of missionaries. We share love and serve those living and dying without hearing the Gospel. In Ghana, we always say, “Oh, by God’s grace” and my life is a testimony to His grace.
Some randomness…I love falling asleep right away, I think it has to do with my gift of sleep. I love eating while wearing wearing elastic waist band pants. I don’t like cats they make me sneeze and have attitudes-don’t get me started on the cat conspiracy. I love hospitable friends that keep chocolate in their freezer. I hate runny noses. I have a hard time loving know-it-alls. I enjoy warm evenings-with no mosquitoes. I have a love/hate relationship with Benadryl. I have a desire to be organized but then it is overcome by a stronger desire to be lazy. I find season changes beautiful. I think the fluff cycle on a dryer does not get enough credit. I wish I was a person who could deal with confrontation. I have an amazing family. I am finding I have no knack for languages. A weekend home every so often would be a beautiful thing. My girth will never leave me nor forsake me, unfortunately. I love sharp knives in the kitchen drawer. I aint so good at grammar. I love people and cultures different than mine. I know the transformational power of the Bible. I am addicted to Ghanaian cloth/dresses. Ice cream has a hold on me-it hypnotizes me and makes me say yes to it every time. I love when others laugh, then I laugh and I love to laugh, though they may wonder why I am laughing, but it is such a sweet sound.
